Charlotte Harbor includes one of the world’s largest protected marine estuaries encompassing 270 square miles with 219 miles of natural shoreline. The area offers more for athletes and sports fans, including numerous annual sporting events and recreational facilities.  The Charlotte Stone Crabs are the High-A affilliate of the Tampa Bay Rays who make Port Charlotte their home for Spring Training.  Rays spring schedule and tickets are available at the Rays spring training website. Cultural pursuits take the forms of visual arts, theater, dance and local music, perfect complements to the area’s spas, dining and nightlife. Port Charlotte also boasts the Highest Rated Comedy Club in Florida by Florida Monthly, Visani's Comedy Club and Restaurant.
